Consists of
- 30-minute cleaning (combo of hand scaling with instruments and ultrasonic scaler if needed)
- Free cavity detecting bitewing x-rays
- Full mouth polish and flossing
- Intra oral photos taken
- Specific exam from the dentist (this consists of maximum 2 teeth/areas for the dentist to look). This exam is roughly a minute or two minutes.
Comprehensive Oral Exam + Cleaning
Consists of
- Full mouth cleaning (combo of hand scaling with instruments and ultrasonic scaler) depending on amount of plaque/tarter/stain present (time needed for this will be different for everyone depending on amount of build-up present)
- X-rays taken depending on condition of mouth (specific for each patient)
- Full mouth polish and flossing
- Fluoride rinse/ varnish

Oral Hygiene Instructions (patient is shown how to properly
floss and brush in their own mouth) - Oral Cancer Screening with aid of Velscope
- Itero/Intra oral photos taken
- Full exam of all teeth and tissues done by the dentist (each tooth will be examined individually). This exam is roughly 30 minutes long and the dentist and hygienist will go over a treatment plan with you at the end of the appointment as well as answer any questions you may have.
